As Easy as Pick, Pack, Pickup
For pickup or ship from store orders, the associate leverages the streamlined workflow to locate the items to be picked and with a quick scan the order is updated that item has been picked. The pick list keeps associates informed on the status of all items in the order, ensuring no items are missed.
When all items are picked, the associate clicks on 'packing' and places the items into the appropriate bag or packaging. Additional items can be packed together or separately depending on store workflows, item size, or any other factors. Once packing is complete, labels are generated for pickups or shipping.
Once packing is complete, pickups are moved to the store staging area and the location is noted for all team members to see to ensure smooth service on customer arrival. For shipping orders, ready-to-use shipping integrations ensure items are quickly dispatched to shipping partners for fast delivery to customers. Customers are continuously informed as orders are prepared or ready for pickup or shipping.
In addition to shipping dispatch, OneView also supports inbound receiving, multi-order batch picking and more. Throughout the process, OneView sends real-time updates—'picking started', 'order ready for pickup', etc. —to SAP Order Management and the CDP platform to automatically inform customers.
